Good office lighting design gives even, glare-free light across every desk, usually with linear lights hung or fixed above the work area. We supply MASCON Renta and Minios linear lights from 2ft to 12ft, plus Bruno ring and Cubano hexagon lights, from our Periyamedu showroom.
What lighting does an office need?
Even light on desks, low glare on screens and a neutral 4000K colour for focus.
That's where linear lights earn their place. One long line does the work of many downlights.
Which Renta length fits your space?
All at 50 × 75mm, 120° beam, 3000K, 4000K or 6000K.

Questions people ask
4000K. It keeps people alert without the harsh look of 6000K.
Suspended for high or open ceilings. Surface for standard false ceilings.
Choose a prismatic, honeycomb or grille diffuser, and keep the lights parallel to the desks.
Yes, with GST invoices and spec sheets.
Work areas usually aim for about 300 to 500 lux on the desk. A Renta 4ft gives 4,320 lumens, enough for a row of desks at normal ceiling height.
They look cleaner and follow the desk layout. Panels suit grid ceilings.
The Renta range runs up to 12ft in one piece. Longer runs can be planned as lengths placed end to end.
No. They also suit kitchens, dining tables, corridors and shops.
A ring or drum-shaped suspended light from MASCON, often used as a statement over receptions and meeting tables.
High enough to clear heads and stay out of sightlines, low enough to light the desks well. We'll suggest a drop for your ceiling height.
Good to know before you buy
Follow the desks, not the ceiling grid
Place linear lights parallel to rows of desks, over the work surface. Light falls where people actually sit and screens stay free of reflections.
Use up-down light in cabins
Lights that throw some light upward brighten the ceiling, so small cabins feel larger and less like a box. The Renta Up Down does this in one fitting.
Keep one model across the floor
Using the same model and colour across a whole office keeps it looking planned. The Renta range runs from 2ft to 12ft, so one family covers every room.
Plan for future layout changes
Suspended lights on adjustable wires can move with the desks. Ask about suspension kits when you order.
Common mistakes to avoid
Lines that run across the desks, or directly behind people, reflect in screens. Run them parallel to the desks, over the work surface.
It looks bright on day one and harsh by week two. 4000K is the comfortable middle for most offices.
Split the floor into zones, so lights near the windows can be dimmed or switched off on bright days.
A dark ceiling makes an office feel like a cave, even with bright desks. Up-down lights fix that.
Suspended lights that hang too low get in the way and glare. Keep enough clearance above head height.
