Magnetic Track Lights in Chennai

Five MASCON systems. Move any light, no rewiring.

  • 4.4★ on Google
  • BIS-certified range
  • CRI 90+ lights

Magnetic track lights are slim ceiling tracks that hold spotlights, linear lights and pendants with magnets, so you can move, swap or add lights without rewiring. We stock five MASCON systems, from the 10mm M17 Maglev to the 5mm-thin M30 belt, at our Periyamedu showroom.

What is a magnetic track light?

A low-voltage track with a magnetic channel. Lights click in anywhere along it and stay put.

There's no twist-lock and no bulky adaptor. And one track can carry spots, linear bars and pendants together.

Want spotlights over the sofa today and a pendant over the table next year? That's where a magnetic track earns its place.

How much does it cost per metre?

It depends on three things: the system, the track length and how many lights you add.

Add up the watts of your lights before you buy. The driver is sized to that total.

How is it installed?

  • Recessed (trimless)

Set into the false ceiling, so plan it before the ceiling is closed.

  • Surface

Screws straight onto a finished ceiling.

  • Suspended

Hangs on wires. Kits are available for M20 and M8.

  • Driver

Converts 220V mains to 24V or 48V. On M20 and M30, it can hide inside the track.

  • Corners and walls

L joints, ceiling-to-wall joints and 3-way and 4-way joints let one run turn corners and drop down a wall.

Where it works best

  • Living rooms

Spots on the art, a linear line for general light. One track does both jobs.

  • Kitchens

Bright linear lights over the counter, with spots for the island.

  • Dining

Pendants that line up with the table, and slide along if the table moves.

  • Retail

Re-aim the spots every time the display changes.

  • Offices

Clean linear runs with no ceiling clutter, easy to extend as the team grows.

Questions people ask

It depends on the system. The M17 Maglev needs a recessed cut-out of just 10 × 15mm, the M20 Mono 34 × 34mm, and the M30 is a surface belt only 5mm thin. Tracks come in 1m and 2m lengths.

Yes. Ceiling-to-wall joints on the M20, M17 and M30 let one track run across the ceiling and down the wall.

Yes. They run on 24V or 48V DC, so a driver converts the 220V supply. On the M20 and M30, the driver can sit inside the track.

Yes, as long as the total wattage stays within the driver's rating.

Recessed sits flush in a false ceiling and looks cleanest, but has to be planned before the ceiling is closed. Surface fits any finished ceiling.

₹[ ] to ₹[ ] per metre for the track, plus the lights you add.

Yes. On the M20 Mono, Lucchino spots, Ravello linear lights and Monoravel pendants all clip onto the same track.

It runs on 24V or 48V DC, which is low voltage. The mains connection stays inside the driver.

Good to know before you buy

  • Plan the layout before the false ceiling

Recessed magnetic tracks need a channel cut into the false ceiling: 34 × 34mm for the M20 and just 10 × 15mm for the M17. Share your ceiling drawing early so the carpenter or POP contractor leaves the right gap. Surface systems like the M30 can go in any time.

  • Mix modules for layered light

The strength of a magnetic system is mixing. Use linear lights for general light, spots for art or a feature wall, and pendants over a table. One track, three jobs, no extra wiring.

  • Size the driver correctly

Add up the watts of every module you plan to use, then leave about 20% headroom for lights you might add later. The M20 and M30 offer 100W and 200W drivers that hide inside the track.

  • Match colour temperature across the room

Keep every module on the same colour, usually 3000K in living spaces. The Lucchino spotlight is tunable, so it can shift between warm and cool if you change your mind.

Bring your ceiling plan. You'll leave knowing which system fits.
